 Hi there! I'm Angela!
Here's a little bit about me-
The fun stuff (squeeee!!)-

  • I'm a down-to-earth Southern girl from NC with a big 'ole Southern accent. No funnin' around, y'all, it's thick!

  • I've lived and traveled all over the world, thanks to my hubby being in the Army. We looooove to travel and usually take off on an adventure every chance we get. Historical sites and National Parks are always #1 on our travel lists (we are both history geeks-don't hate!).

  • Hubs and I have a lot of furbabies. No, really, we have A LOT. They are all rescues and they are all spoiled rotten! I am a huge animal lover and I work with local rescues on a weekly basis.

  • I looooove to talk and laugh (can you tell?) and I enjoy helping folks tell their stories, hence my love for all types of communication!

  • I want my clients to be relaxed and have fun during their photo sessions! Believe it or not, I really do not enjoy having my photo taken (in fact, I don't like it at all). Therefore I always try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Give me a shot- you won't be disappointed!

The professional stuff (serious face) -

  • I've always had an obsession with photography. Even as a little child I was often seen with a camera in my hand. I got started on my trusty Polaroid with rainbow stripes, and as the years went on, I upgraded to using 110mm and 35mm cameras. I was obsessed with my Dad's fancy Pentax until I got my very own Canon Rebel. I finally entered the digital age with a rad Sony Digital Mavica and-get this-it took floppy discs!! Eventually, I fell in love with a Nikon D50 and I continued upgrading and growing from that point on.

  • My photography gear now consists of two Nikon D700 bodies, with 24-70, 70-200 and 50mm lenses.

  • My B.A. and M.A. degrees are in Communications and I do freelance writing, marketing, public relations and fundraising work along with my photography.

  • I also have a certificate in Nonprofit Management and I have a special place in my heart for nonprofits and small businesses. I know what it's like to be on the business side of things with no budget for quality images or marketing materials, and I try very hard to help folks in similar situations
